The Thuringian Bach Weeks are the major music festival in the center of Germany.
Specializing in performing the works of Johann Sebastian Bach at authentic Bach sites, we bring the Bach country of Thuringia to life with music. Our starting point is a unique historical treasure: with the Bach House and baptismal church in Eisenach, the wedding church in Dornheim, his early places of work in Mühlhausen, Arnstadt, and Weimar, as well as the ancestral homes in Erfurt and Wechmar, Thuringia boasts a wealth of authentic Bach sites. These impressive locations serve as our stages and provide the setting for sophisticated concerts.
