Swiss Classics GmbH
For over 20 years – since the opening of Jean Nouvel's Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne – internationally renowned performers have graced the highly acclaimed and acoustically superb KKL concert hall as part of the "Lucerne Chamber Circle," captivating audiences and critics alike. Since 1999, swiss classics GmbH has successfully organized top-class concerts in Lucerne, presenting not only major choral and orchestral works around the holidays but also enthralling chamber music evenings and intimate recitals with outstanding artists from around the world. Many of these artists specialize in historically informed performance practice, but crossover and interdisciplinary productions also find their place in the diverse program of the "Lucerne Chamber Circle."
In the spring of 1999, four musicians founded "swiss classics GmbH." Their musical backgrounds, combined with their professional development (in music management and law), formed the basis for creating their own concert series, the "Lucerne Chamber Circle." Thanks to great enthusiasm and dedication, the concerts have since been received with equal success by the music world and the press.
Since 2012, Swiss Classics has also organized the concert series "Classiques!" in Riehen near Basel.
