Stella Maris Orchestra
The Stella Maris Orchestra uniquely combines professional orchestral performance and the training of young musicians with historically informed performance practice (that is, playing early music on instruments and using techniques common at the time the music was composed). Long-term collaboration with a stable string section comprised of both young and experienced musicians guarantees artistic continuity and substance. Two to three concert projects per year, for which the orchestra collaborates with renowned specialists and internationally acclaimed soloists, provide a variety of challenges.
