Spiez Castle Concerts
During the month of May, audiences can experience the unique atmosphere of the Spiez Castle Concerts at seven to nine musical events. Even the approach through the castle grounds sets the tone for a special evening or morning.
The inviting Romanesque space of the Spiez Castle Church, with its wonderful acoustics, provides a fitting setting for a long-standing tradition that encompasses classical chamber music, vocal ensembles, jazz groups, children's concerts (also popular with adults), and the passionate performances of very young artists.
Thanks to the entirely volunteer-run organization and close collaboration with the castle, ticket prices are reasonable, and occasionally, refreshments are offered, providing an opportunity to chat informally with other concertgoers or the artists. Another hallmark of our concert series is its intimate, family-like atmosphere, with the performers providing direct commentary.
