Today, in addition to his artistic commitments, he is also a sought-after vocal coach in Solothurn. As a concert, oratorio, and opera singer, Markus Oberholzer has established a respected reputation as a bass-baritone with an extensive repertoire, particularly in Switzerland, Germany, and Hungary. His engagements with the Swiss Touring Opera, where he sang roles by Donizetti, Rossini, and Lortzing in over 150 performances, and his great success as Leporello at the Friedrichshafen Castle Opera, are just a few examples.
