MCS Chamber Orchestra
We are a semi-professional string orchestra. Its foundation consists of dedicated amateur musicians. The orchestra is led by the experienced conductor and church musician Annedore Neufeld. Each section is supported by a professional musician as principal. We prepare two to three concert programs per year, featuring pieces for strings only as well as symphonic works, for which we bring in additional musicians. We engage renowned soloists and also perform with choirs. Our repertoire encompasses music from the Baroque era to the present day.
We rehearse every Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. in the auditorium of the Bach School in Schaffhausen.
