Chamber Choir of the Zurich Lowlands
founded in 1965, is a traditional choir that welcomes singers of all ages and is committed to continuous development. A fixture in the cultural life of the Bülach region, the Zürcher Unterland Chamber Choir
currently comprises around 60 dedicated singers who participate in two to three projects annually.
Rehearsals are held every Thursday at 7:30 pm in the music room of the Weiher schoolhouse in Höri. Guests are warmly invited to join, even for short-term, project-based participation.
For the past three decades, the choir has been significantly shaped by its musical director, Beat Raaflaub. Under his leadership, the chamber choir has developed into an ensemble with an excellent reputation, extending beyond the region. Under the direction of Anna Jelmorini, the choir has further refined its sound, diction, and homogeneity.
Since January 2019, Philipp Klahm has been leading the choir with his distinctive musical voice. We enjoy rehearsals with him and look forward to further musical highlights.
