The Cantus Firmus Chamber Choir is part of the Cantus Firmus Ensemble and was founded by Andreas Reize with a focus on performing Baroque and Classical operas, oratorios, and demanding a cappella music. The young, highly skilled singers come from various parts of Switzerland. They have sung in numerous choirs for many years and receive vocal training. In the 2006 and 2007 opera productions at Waldegg Castle and with highly challenging a cappella programs, the members of the Cantus Firmus Chamber Choir have already far surpassed the boundaries of conventional choral work. The chamber choir has also performed various demanding a cappella programs. In the summer of 2015, the singers will once again grace the opera stage at Waldegg Castle in Henry Purcell's Fairy Queen.
