program

A special concert experience for the whole family awaits audiences at the Vögele Cultural Center in Pfäffikon SZ: Mozart's famous opera "The Magic Flute" will be performed with narration, images, and live music.

Since 2019, the "Concert for Young and Old" project has delighted children, parents, grandparents, and other interested parties. The concert series provides young listeners with playful and accessible access to great works of classical music. Music, narration, and images combine to create a vibrant and immersive experience.

This year's production focuses on Mozart's "The Magic Flute." The captivating story of Prince Tamino, who, with the help of a magic flute, his friend Papageno, and the power of music, sets out to rescue Pamina, is told. On his journey, courage, friendship, and humanity overcome all challenges – a fairy tale about hope, solidarity, and the goodness within people.

Narrator Helena Kistler guides the audience through the story. The Nortada Quintet, a classical wind quintet, featuring Janine Odermatt (flute, piccolo), Yoko Jinnai (oboe, English horn), Gabriel Schwyter (clarinet), Roland Bamert (bassoon), and Sebastian Rauchenstein (French horn), performs Mozart's wonderful music.

The performance lasts approximately 45 minutes. Recommended for children aged 6 and up.
