For its achievements, the Swiss Jazz Orchestra was awarded the Swiss Jazz Award in 2024. As Switzerland's busiest professional big band, the SJO performs projects in a wide variety of styles, documented on twelve albums to date. The legendary American jazz musician and arranger Jim McNeely composed the music for the album dedicated to the work of Paul Klee. Special guest on this program is tango and jazz luminary Michael Zisman.
