With great enthusiasm and a touch of pride, we invite you to the 10th Klangwelle (Sound Wave) – and in the middle of this season, we're also celebrating "20 Years of the Stradivari Quartet."
Together, we want to look back with gratitude and, at the same time, begin a new musical love story: our Klangwelle on Lake Zurich, "France." As always, the string quartet takes center stage. Its most important repertoire undoubtedly includes Debussy and Ravel – with their sounds, harmonies, elegance, and subtleties, they have shaped French music like few others. Around these two protagonists, we will discover 12 other composers whose chamber music will guide us through a vibrant palette of string, piano, and magnificent wind sounds – allowing us to be enchanted by the rich facets and spirit of France.
With our new podcast series, we're opening another, very personal window into this world of sound: In conversations with musicians, experts, and friends of the Stradivari family, we want to share stories, background information, and favorite moments – for listening at home or on the go. Of course, our established formats will remain: "Lighthouse" as an in-depth cultural experience, "Préludes" to set the mood, and "Apéros" and "StradivariTISCHE" for direct exchange after the concerts. Our hearts are already racing with excitement for the upcoming musical journey to Paris.
