Fortune turns the wheel – and the audience determines the course of the evening. Inspired by the medieval concept of the Fate, the musicians create an interactive concert: a die decides the order of the program segments.
With works by Guillaume de Machaut, Philippe de Vitry, Guillaume Du Fay, and many anonymously transmitted pieces from the Middle Ages and Early Renaissance, a sonic mosaic of song, dance, and sacred music unfolds. An evening full of surprises, playful energy, and historical timbres.
In case of bad weather, the evening concert will take place in the Enge Church, Bürglistrasse 15, 8002 Zurich. Information available on the day of the concert from 2:00 pm: Serenades in the Park,
Getting there: Tram 7 to Museum Rietberg, no parking
available. Refreshments: The Orangery is open before and during the serenades.
Accessibility: The grounds are wheelchair accessible.
