Following her acclaimed recitals of recent years, the German pianist Schaghajegh Nosrati returns to the music village. All the works are connected to flow or water: clearly in Blomenkamp's, and in Bach's through the flowing movements and arpeggiated chords.
Mozart's Rondo is a Siciliana and, with its swaying motion, also evokes water. And apart from the sparkling runs in Schubert's great Sonata in A major, it is especially the second movement that sounds like a dark, almost mystical barcarolle.
