The Japanese-Russian cellist Ken Kaneda, who trained at the Moscow Conservatory and is currently studying at the Basel Academy of Music, captivates audiences with his brilliant playing. In 2025, he was awarded the Hans Schaeuble Award in Arosa by a jury of experts. Together with the Russian pianist Sofya Pisetsky, he will present a romantic-impressionistic program in Gonten featuring sonatas by Rachmaninoff, Debussy, and Poulenc.
