Suites, Variations & Rhapsody:
Optimal musical harmony undoubtedly arises when technical mastery is combined with deep intimacy and an equal partnership – and where better to see this than in two brothers who have been making music together since childhood and have been captivating audiences worldwide for over a decade? In Bern, Lucas and Arthur Jussen will perform, among other works, Haydn Variations by Johannes Brahms and Witold Lutosławski, as well as George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. We can also look forward to French music and a rousing piece by the Polish composer Hanna Kulenty.
