Virtuoso Keyboard Magic:

The music of Miłosz Magin can be recognized by just a few notes; his style is both enchanting and surprising. Few composers of his time dedicated themselves so clearly to the art of composing beautiful melodies—while simultaneously retaining the rhythmic innovations of modernism and a harmony clearly influenced by the great French musicians of the early 20th century.

Debargue contrasts the Polish composer's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the technically demanding and lesser-known Piano Concerto No. 14, K. 449, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Music critic Eric Blom called it "an interesting and strangely neglected work in E-flat major that clearly reveals a new character. (...) There is something darkly melancholic about the work that we have not yet encountered in this category of music."
