program

What does a bladder stone operation sound like? And did any patient survive one around 1720? In this extraordinary program, Alex Jellici and Matías Lanz weave a story around an imaginary bladder stone patient from Passy near Paris, using music from the period as well as contemporary works by Stephanie Haensler, Hans Eugen Frischknecht, and Peter Streiff. The program also marks the official CD launch of the album the duo recorded as the 2026 New Year's piece for the Zurich Central Library.
