The key to the GAIA Music Festival lies in the fusion of different art forms. This Sunday morning, artistic director Gwendolyn Masin, together with Sabine Hertig (artist in residence at the Thun Art Museum), will open the Thun Art Museum's exhibition. The musicians will find their place among Hertig's artworks and complete the collage between visual worlds and music with contemporary pieces such as Caroline Shaw's Entr'acte and Schubert's well-known string quartet "Death and the Maiden," arranged for chamber orchestra.
