program

Stephanie Ritz, soprano; Urs Bamert, clarinets; Ina Callejas, accordion – The refreshing format featuring works by Mozart, Vivaldi, Handel, Lachner, Frank Martin, Arthur Beul, Gershwin, and others.

"Accento musicale" has presented its concert format "Teasing Song Evening" with great success in recent years, in the unusual trio setting of soprano, clarinet, and accordion. The 8th edition, with its varied and humorous program, has been specially arranged for this ensemble by Ina Callejas and Urs Bamert. Virtuosic coloratura arias alternate with subtly melancholic sounds, and cheerful songs with poignant clarinet and accordion melodies.

Program:
George Frideric Handel (1685-1759): "Meine Seele hört im Sehen" from "9 German Arias" HWV 207;
Frank Martin (1890-1974): "Ach herzeliep" from "Drey Minnelieder" (1960), text anonymous;
George Frideric Handel (1685-1759): "Flammende Rose, Zierde der Erden" from "9 German Arias" HWV 210;
