Classical music, film scores, and unforgettable moments on Lake Zurich – the only open-air classical music festival on Lake Zurich and in the Canton of Schwyz! For the fourth time, Lachen harbor will be transformed into a unique open-air stage.
Enjoy a magical summer evening with the Schwyz Cantonal Symphony Orchestra, renowned soloists, and talented young musicians from the region.
Against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Zurich and the mountains, a diverse program full of musical highlights awaits you – from beloved classical works to familiar melodies from film and television.
The program features works and arias by Franz von Suppé, Giuseppe Verdi, Edmund Severin, Carl Loewe, Giacomo Puccini, and Johann Strauss, as well as film music by Gershwin from "Shall We Dance," John Williams from "E.T.," "Indiana Jones," and "Harry Potter," from "James Bond 007," "Amélie," Nino Rota's "The Godfather," Pixar's "Luca," and
more. Food and drink will be available from 4:00 PM (weather permitting).
In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the parish church.
Seats are reserved for members of the "Förderkreis KaS" (KaS Supporters' Association); information is available on our website. This event
is supported in particular by our main sponsor, UBS, and our patronage partners: the municipality of Lachen, the Canton of Schwyz, Genossame Lachen & Quantum Gym, and the Lachen association Begägnig am See.
