Leila Schayegh and Capriccio's ongoing Mozart cycle continues with the Fifth Violin Concerto, which forms the crowning conclusion of this diverse group of works. Mozart's Salzburg concert output is part of a whole series of large orchestral works, with symphonic music at its core. During those years, Mozart was also inspired by his friend and mentor Josef Mysliveček, who was celebrated in Italy as the "divine Bohemian."
