Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations, BWV 988, are among the most important works in piano literature. From a simple aria unfolds a fascinating cycle of 30 variations, full of expressiveness, virtuosity, and compositional mastery. To this day, this masterpiece inspires with its depth and complexity.
At Cantaleum Live, the Goldberg Variations are performed by pianist Milosz Sroczynski in an artistic arrangement developed specifically for Cantaleum Live. The project is supported by the StockART Foundation and is currently touring internationally.
The pianist, originally from Poland and now living in Zurich, is continuing his soloist studies at the Royal College of Music in London with Professor Norma Fisher. A prizewinner of international competitions, he performs throughout Europe and teaches at the Zurich Conservatory Music School (MKZ).
Cantaleum Live is delighted to welcome Milosz Sroczynski back and to present the audience with a special concert evening featuring Bach's timeless masterpiece.
