program

Following the great success of last season's tango-themed program, violinist Anton Jablokov returns to Einsiedeln Abbey with his new project, "Balkan Passion." As he does every year, he presents a new concert program that consistently meets with great enthusiasm from audiences and regularly sells out.

In this program, the folk music of Eastern Europe is reinterpreted through original arrangements written specifically for this ensemble. The concert unfolds a dialogue between passionate dances, captivating gypsy rhythms, and nostalgic ballads, in which centuries-old melodies are brought to life anew in a sophisticated and virtuosic musical language.

The project's fundamental idea is that folk music represents a universal cultural heritage that connects people through direct energy and emotion.
