A donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster: four animals who escape old age and their uncertain fate and set off together for Bremen to begin a new life as a musical quartet – the Bremen Town Musicians of the Brothers Grimm.
On their journey, they bond, grow beyond themselves, and prove with cunning and courage how to even drive away robbers and conquer a new home.
The actor Peter Zimmermann narrates their adventurous story, accompanied by the music of Swiss composer Franz Tischhauser. With imaginative sounds and great heart, their journey becomes a tale of friendship, solidarity, and the courage to venture into the unknown together.
