Siggenthal Youth Orchestra SJO

Since 1979, the Siggenthal Youth Orchestra (SJO) has enabled young people aged 12 to 25 from across the canton of Aargau to experience music and gain valuable experience playing in an orchestra. This unique ensemble brings together young people of all ages, from high school students to music college students, to make music together. Two programs are performed annually, comprising a total of 8-10 concerts. Major symphonic works are regularly featured. In addition, the orchestra accompanies outstanding soloists from Aargau and offers young musicians from within its own ranks the opportunity to showcase their talents in solo concerts.
