Founded in 2020 , Brass Bridges unites five experienced musicians from northern Switzerland and southern Germany. What began as a project during a time of limited rehearsal opportunities has quickly developed into a sought-after ensemble for concert and church music . With great enthusiasm, a rich tonal palette, and finely tuned interplay, Brass Bridges dedicates itself to a wide-ranging repertoire – from the Renaissance to the modern era. Together with organist Sofija Grgur, the musicians will present a varied concert program that demonstrates the sonic diversity and expressiveness of this exceptional ensemble . The combination of brass quintet and organ unites radiant festivity with delicate tonal colors, constantly opening up new musical perspectives. The program includes works by Giovanni Gabrieli, Sigfrid Karg-Elert, Viktor Ewald, Leonard Bernstein, and Eugène Gigout. The concert is complemented by organ solos performed by Sofija Grgur.
