Bern Lake Festival

A refined and harmonious Fête de la Musique, seamlessly integrated into the neighborhood, artistically sophisticated, taking place in both everyday and unexpected locations. A variety of concert formats, ranging from musical strolls in public spaces and children's concerts to late-night performances in the Orangerie at Schöngrün, concerts at the Egelsee workshop, and potential matinees at the Brasserie Obstberg, will combine to create a true Fête de la Musique.
Acoustic performances, from classical and jazz to world music, in chamber music ensembles, will unfold amidst nature yet remain at the heart of the city, in harmony with the neighborhood and its residents.
The music transcends conventional boundaries and enters a typical Bernese neighborhood. Accessible elements invite the entire local population to participate in the Fête de la Musique.
Alongside accessibility, sustainability is a key priority. This is a festival for people that does not harm nature and keeps all emissions to a minimum.
