Mozart's Third Italian Journey – Christina Kunz
For the last time, the young Mozart traveled to Italy from autumn 1772 to spring 1773 to fulfill his great commission: the composition and realization of the opera "Lucio Silla." He would never see his beloved operatic homeland of Italy again; it would be a farewell forever, and also a farewell to his prodigious childhood.
Music and images will complement the approximately 45-minute presentation by musician Christina Kunz. We would be delighted if you would join us on Mozart's third Italian journey.
