STAGE SET FOR SWITZERLAND'S FIRST CLASSICAL MUSIC DRIVE-IN FESTIVAL!
World-class artists will gather in the Gruyère region for a truly special and unique classical music festival. Instead of Lucerne, Verbier, Gstaad, London, Berlin, Salzburg, and Shanghai, Charmey is now on the program.
Due to the pandemic, the internationally renowned mezzo-soprano from western Switzerland, Marie-Claude Chappuis, has transformed her long-established "Festival du Lied" into a veritable drive-in classical music festival!
"What has been successful with films for decades should also be possible for classical music," says the singer and festival director.
An extraordinary idea, a first for Switzerland! So, they dared to do it!
