Meet Trio Colores

The origins of music are highly debated. Do they lie in the whistling of reeds in the wind? Or are the origins of music to be found in birdsong? Did language develop from song, or vice versa? Perhaps music was even brought into the world by gods. Some, however, believe that rhythm underlies all music, as it is ubiquitous. Even the first auditory experience of our lives is characterized more by rhythm than pitch: the heartbeats in the womb.

In this free concert, the Trio Colores demonstrates that percussion is far more than primitive music today. With creative drive and infectious passion, the young trio presents new sonic textures in a clever program. With their skillful arrangements, the three percussionists will create an evening that truly lives up to its name.

And before and after the concert, a bar in the town hall foyer will ensure the perfect start and finish.
