This concert program focuses on the flow of water, leading from the gently trickling water of an Alpine mountain spring (Franz Liszt's inspiration for "Au bord d'une source" during his journey through the Goms region) to the roaring waves of Claude Debussy's La Mer.
Also included is the well-known and beloved piece "The Moldau" by Bedřich Smetana, in the rarely heard version for piano four hands, as well as the fascinating percussion sounds of Per Nørgård.
